Terms of Service

The service

Unary AI is a desktop IDE with an agent runtime that runs on your own machine, plus optional online services operated by Techqon AG: accounts, downloads, billing and; for supporters — secure remote access to a session running on your computer. These terms cover the online services and your use of the application.

Accounts

You need an account to download builds and to use remote access. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account is meant for one person. You can delete your account at any time, which ends this agreement.

Free tier and supporter tiers

The base version is free and stays free: the full IDE, the native index, the plugins and the agent fleet, without seat limits or a feature paywall. Supporting us is voluntary. The supporter tier is USD 5 per month and adds secure remote access from the web and mobile app; supporter plus is USD 10 per month and additionally gives you early versions and access to the dev and support chat.

Supporter tiers are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial periods, but nothing is removed from the free tier when you stop supporting.

Your API keys and providers

Unary AI is bring-your-own-key. The contract with your model provider is yours, not ours: their terms, their prices, their availability. We never see your keys unless you deliberately store them in a service we operate, and we do not resell model capacity. If a provider changes its terms or blocks your region, that is between you and them; swap the provider or run a local model.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload our infrastructure, to resell remote access to third parties, or to circumvent the licensing of the application. We may suspend an account that does; we will tell you why.

Pre alpha

The software is in pre alpha. It ships without warranty of any kind: features can change or disappear, interfaces break, and a build may lose data. Keep backups and version control, and do not put it on a critical path you cannot recover from. Pre-alpha keys are handed out at our discretion and can be revoked.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Techqon AG is liable only for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data. For the paid tiers, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes are announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.

Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the CISG. Place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of Techqon AG in Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
